Griffen Park Boarding Kennels is a brand new facility opened in June 2018!
Ideally situated in beautiful Stratford, just off the Princes Highway, midway between Melbourne and the New South Wales Border. Griffen Park Boarding Kennels sits upon a sprawling 100-acre farm set amongst giant redgums. It is a quiet, safe farm stay for your four legged friends.
Whilst here in my care, your dogs will be part of my family. We are a small kennel facility which enables me to provide the care and attention to each dog, myself. I have a lifetime of experience with Dogs. From breeding and showing German Shepherds with my mother right through to owning and operating one of Melbourne’s largest and most respected grooming salons for over 13 years.
Where did the name Griffen Park come from? It is to honour our darling Griffen Theodore, a black German Shepherd cross, who as an 8 week old puppy was brought into our salon because; quote, “they did not want him anymore”, unquote. Well, lucky for him it was me! He has been the most loyal, affectionate companion for the last 9 years and we think we owe it to him!
